AV2015

16th Australian Venture

The 16th Australian Venture is being held in Adelaide, South Australia from 2 January until 13 January 2015.

An Australian Venture is the major National youth event for the Venturer section of Scouts Australia. You get to meet other Venturers and Guides from all over Australia and around the world.

For 10 days you will visit different areas of South Australia, try out activities and challenges you may have never dreamed of doing, and make friends for life.

Who can go

You need to be a registered Venturer (14 - 18 years of age) at the time of the Venture. This works out to be those having a date of birth between 3 Jan 1997 and 3 Jan 2000.

Information Night

On Friday 1 November 2013, the Flagstaff Hill Scout Group will be hosting an information night about AV2015 for all those Scouts and Venturers eligible to attend AV2015.

We will go through the structure of a Venture as well as outlining possible opportunities for fundraising that the Venturer Unit and families may be interested in.
